Job Responsibilities

Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing incoming shipments of goods.

  • Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently according to pick lists or customer orders.
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory.
  • Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, including shelving units, storage racks, and work areas.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with cycle counting activities.
  • Operate warehouse machinery and equipment safely and according to standard operating procedures.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety, security, and inventory management.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet productivity and performance targets.
  • Assist with other warehouse tasks and projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience working in a warehouse or distribution centre preferred.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks in a warehouse environment.
  • Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks are a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory management and data entry.
  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to work afternoon shifts and occasional overtime as needed.
