Job Description
This role focuses on deploying and maintaining code quality solutions at Goldman Sachs. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing static code analysis platforms to enhance software quality across the organization.
Role Overview
This role involves deploying and maintaining code quality solutions at Goldman Sachs. The candidate will manage static code analysis platforms, collaborate with engineering teams to implement quality gates, and develop best practices for static analysis in CI/CD pipelines. Experience with SRE principles, monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Thanos), and static analysis tools (SonarQube, SemGrep, FBInfer) is required. Programming skills in Java, Python, or Go, Unix knowledge, and a passion for code quality are essential.
Responsibilities
Manage a widely used code quality platform
Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure quality requirements are met
Participate in code reviews and develop best practices
Research new technologies to drive innovation
Required Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
1+ year (Analyst) / 3+ years (Associate) experience in code quality
Experience with SRE tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Thanos, Pagerduty, AWS CloudWatch)
Experience with static analysis tools (SonarQube, SemGrep, FBInfer)
Proficiency in Java, Python, or Go
Understanding of code quality best practices
Knowledge of SDLC, preferably with GitLab or GitHub
Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of AWS CDK and cloud provisioning
Intermediate Unix and scripting skills
