Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical individual to join our internal audit team as a Senior Internal Audit Professional. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and executing risk-based process audits, ensuring timely completion of audit assignments according to the annual audit plan.

You will assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, and compliance with policies and procedures. Your task will include gathering relevant audit evidence and documenting in audit working papers to support audit findings and conclusion.

Additionally, you will identify control gaps and make practicable recommendations to mitigate risks, improve processes and strengthen internal controls.

Your responsibilities will also include preparing draft audit reports and communicating with process owners and key stakeholders on audit findings and recommended action plans.

Finally, you will monitor and follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations and agreed action plans.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Diploma/Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in internal audit and/or financial, operational, compliance audit.
  • Good knowledge of internal control and risk assessment framework.
  • Meticulous self-starter with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to build good working relationships with all levels of stakeholders.
  • Good team player with the ability to work independently and meet timelines.
  • Knowledge and experience with Audit Analytics Software will be an added advantage.

Working Hours

The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm.
