Job Title:

Executive Pastry Specialist

Role Overview

As an Executive Pastry Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our pastry department. You will oversee the preparation, production, and storage of raw materials and finished goods, ensuring consistency in quality and cost control.

This is a key leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask. You will work closely with our team to achieve business objectives and drive growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage inventory levels and liaise with relevant departments for purchasing
  • Oversee daily preparation, production, and storing of raw materials/finished goods while maintaining costs and ensuring consistency quality of products
  • Responsible for maintaining a lean, orderly, and sanitary cooking station that adheres to health and safety standards
  • Supervise Commis Chefs and ensure they meet productivity and quality standards

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience working in a pastry or bakery environment
  • Strong knowledge of various cakes, pastries, cookies, chocolates, and other desserts
  • Able to finish cakes (cream-based, mousse-based, and cheese cakes)
