Business Development Manager – Steel & Industrial Products Location: Central Business District Working Hours: 9am – 5:30pm (Mon–Fri)Salary: Up to $8,000Reporting To: Head of Department Company: Leading Japanese Multinational Steel Trading & Industrial Solutions Group About the Role We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager with strong exposure to the steel, metals, or industrial engineering markets , individuals familiar with mill products, fabrication processes, and industrial supply chains , and who can drive growth through technical understanding and strategic customer engagement. You will be responsible for expanding our market presence, developing new sales channels, and strengthening relationships across key sectors such as oil & gas, marine, construction, heavy industries, engineering services, and manufacturing . Key Responsibilities Grow sales for steel and industrial products by identifying new customers and markets. Build relationships with EPCs, fabricators, OEMs, and industrial end-users. Develop proposals, negotiate commercial terms, and close deals. Work with mills and suppliers to deliver fit-for-purpose steel solutions. Monitor pricing trends, competitor activity, and market developments. Travel for client visits and supplier engagement when required. Requirements Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field. Min. 5 years' BD/sales experience in steel trading, metals, industrial equipment, or O&G sectors. Strong knowledge of steel products and oil & gas equipment (wellheads, Christmas trees, drill pipes, OCTG, completion tools, valves, fittings).
