OverviewInuka is working with a renewable energy company to bring on a Finance Director for its APAC operations, based in Singapore. The role will provide strategic financial leadership, overseeing financial planning, reporting, and capital management to support the company’s rapid growth across the region. This position is key to ensuring sound financial governance, supporting project development, and driving long-term value creation.
Key Responsibilities- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for the APAC business.
- Oversee accounting, reporting, and compliance with regional and international standards.
- Support project financing, M&A activities, and capital raising initiatives.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership to guide strategic decisions.
- Manage treasury operations, cash flow, and risk management processes.
- Establish and maintain relationships with banks, investors, and financial institutions.
- Build and mentor the regional finance team to ensure strong performance and compliance.
- 12–15 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or Master’s preferred.
- Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CFA strongly preferred.
- Proven track record in renewable energy, infrastructure, or related sectors.
- Experience in project finance, capital markets, and M&A transactions.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluency in English required; additional Asian languages a plus.
