What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance or related field is preferred for this position as it provides essential foundational knowledge.
Professional accounting certification such as CPA or ACCA (or equivalent) is required to demonstrate your technical expertise.
At least 8 years of relevant accounting experience is expected; prior exposure within private equity or real estate sectors will be highly regarded.
Comprehensive understanding of accounting standards including IFRS, US GAAP or Japan GAAP is necessary for success in this role.
Solid taxation knowledge covering key markets such as Hong Kong, Japan, and Singapore is important for managing complex cross-border requirements.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint is essential for preparing reports and presentations effectively.
Experience using Yardi accounting software would be advantageous but not mandatory for consideration.
Strong analytical skills combined with attention to detail are vital for producing accurate financial information under tight deadlines.
Excellent communication abilities—both written and spoken English—are crucial for building rapport with stakeholders at all levels.
Demonstrated ability to work independently while contributing positively within a team-oriented environment is highly valued.
