Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AutoCAD draftsman to join our team at Strength PTE Ltd. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering or electrical/mechanical disciplines, with excellent knowledge of AutoCAD drafting tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation of production drawings using AutoCAD software
  • Conversion of drawings into program files
  • Development and maintenance of CAD drawings
  • Coordination with production supervisors for production schedules
  • Handling ad-hoc duties and tasks assigned by management
Additional Responsibilities
  • Quantity take-off and cost estimation for Architecture/M&E/A&A projects
  • Preparation of tender submissions and assistance in sourcing vendors and establishing vendor lists
  • Assistance in obtaining market pricing from vendors (including labor, logistics, and materials)
  • Assistance in preparing cost plans and cost reports for assigned projects
  • Liaison with vendors for pricing, delivery, compliance with authority codes, and payment processing
  • Assistance in preparing monthly/weekly QS reports on cost plans, vendors, procurement plans, contract administration, and project updates
Requirements
  • iTEC/Diploma in Building Drafting/Engineering or equivalent certificate
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D) is a must
  • Able to communicate and coordinate with supervisors and other team members
  • Minimum 2 years of work experience in A&A works/Interior Design/Renovation/Fit-out Works
  • Familiarity with tender evaluation and preparation of tender documents
  • Ability to multitask and work independently
  • Possesses integrity, initiative, and drive; Team player with good hands-on multi-tasking abilities; Promptly reporting to superiors;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Resourceful and able to establish a network with local vendors;
  • In-depth understanding of construction practices;
  • Sound knowledge of pre- and post-contract duties with good working knowledge of conditions of contract and standard forms of measurements
  • Able to use Microsoft programs, AutoCAD, and other QS programs to perform the works;

Preferred Qualifications: Immediate starter preferred.
