Job Description Smartkarma is seeking a senior independent analyst to build and scale comprehensive ASEAN equities coverage, with a particular focus on Indonesia and the broader ASEAN region. Responsibilities Equity bottom‐up analysis: company tear‐sheet reviews, channel checks, and management‐meeting takeaways. Thematic commentary on economic and sectoral drivers across ASEAN markets. Valuation and relative‐value frameworks: benchmark comparisons and peer analyses. Event‐driven briefs on earnings previews, corporate actions, and capital‐market updates. You will also be expected to offer a high‐touch service for select institutional clients. Qualifications Extensive research and/or investment experience for institutional clients (10 years+). Proven track record and an extensive network across ASEAN equity capital markets. Demonstrated ability to write research reports.
