Job Title: Preschool Cleaner
This preschool cleaner role requires a motivated and organized individual to maintain the cleanliness, hygiene, and orderliness of the preschool environment. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in cleaning, preferably in preschools, schools, or childcare centers.
Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming classrooms, ateliers, staff areas, corridors, and common spaces. Additionally, they will wipe and disinfect all surfaces, clean and sanitise toilets, sinks, and bathroom facilities, empty bins and dispose of waste safely and responsibly, and maintain cleanliness of children's dining areas before and after meals/snacks.
Weekly / Periodic Duties

  • Deep clean toys, learning materials, and equipment according to schedules.
  • Wash and sanitise children's bedding, towels, and soft furnishings.
  • Assist in periodic deep cleaning of classrooms, studios, and outdoor play spaces.
  • Support pest-control routines and ensure the environment remains safe and hygienic.
Outdoor & Common Areas
  • Maintain cleanliness of outdoor play areas, garden paths, and entrances.
  • Sweep and tidy external areas, ensuring they are safe and welcoming.
General Responsibilities
  • Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards as required by ECDA and NEA.
  • Report maintenance or repair needs promptly to the Programme Coordinator.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and staff to maintain a high-quality environment.
  • Use cleaning equipment and supplies safely and responsibly.
  • Uphold values of care and respect in maintaining an environment.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in cleaning, preferably in preschools, schools, or childcare centers.
  • Knowledge of proper cleaning and sanitising practices for children's environments.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
  • Physically fit to manage cleaning tasks indoors and outdoors.
  • A positive attitude and respect for children, staff, and families.
