What the role is:

As an Assistant Engineer/Senior Assistant Engineer/Engineer (Operations), you will be considered for deployment to Johor River Waterworks (Malaysia) to manage and develop Singapore's water resources.

What you will be working on:

As a Shift Operator at Johor River Waterworks, your responsibilities will include:

  • Operate water treatment plant and equipment to produce potable water meeting WHO, USEPA, and EPH guidelines.
  • Carry out water sampling and laboratory tests to ensure water quality within prescribed control limits.
  • Perform administrative duties related to water treatment plant operations contracts according to specifications.
  • Prepare and top up chemicals such as alum, lime, and fluoride used in treatment processes.

Work Location – Kota Tinggi, Johor River Waterworks, Malaysia

As a Shift Operator at Linggiu/Pipeline, your responsibilities will include:

  • Monitor instruments at the dam, perform routine checks for dam integrity, and operate valves along pipelines.
  • Conduct water sampling to ensure water quality within prescribed limits.
  • Manage administrative duties for Linggiu Reservoir or Pipeline operation contracts.
  • Supervise contractors to ensure compliance with requirements.

Work Location – Permas Jaya / Kota Tinggi, Malaysia

During work, you may need to collaborate with departments, consultants, contractors, and public agencies.

What we are looking for:

  • Diploma in Chemical, Environmental, Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics Engineering or related fields.
  • Ability to work on 3-rotating shifts.
  • Independent worker and a good team player.
