Assistant Vice President, Distribution Reporting

Join to apply for the Assistant Vice President, Distribution Reporting & Digital Enablement role at GREAT EASTERN This is a high-performing team that owns the role of the “Business Owner” and drives key digital strategies for our key sales channels (Agency and Bancassurance). Our objective is to increase business efficiencies to achieve the channel’s top- and bottom-line budget numbers. Responsibilities Include, But Not Limited To Support management’s decision in project sponsorship by establishing clear business needs against what can be delivered by IT and our Platform/Product Owner Active engagement with distribution partners to develop key strategies relevant to them Responsible for updating, prioritizing, and implementing digital platforms that drive distribution productivity Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that projects and strategies are rolled out clearly, promptly, and timely. Report project status to the senior management team Take accountability for business and regulatory compliance risks and mitigate them as appropriate Minimum degree holder Qualities: strong problem-solving, analytical and strategic thinking, strong business acumen and numerical sense, meticulous and proactive Preferred project experience on large or e-commerce projects Team player with excellent communication skills, both oral and written Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the confidence to push boundaries Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Adaptable and thrives on new challenges Proficiency in project tools (e.g., MS Office, JIRA, HPQC, Confluence) High integrity, accountability, and good teamwork attitude Takes initiative to improve the current state and adapt to changes How You Succeed Champion and embody our Core Values in everyday tasks and interactions Demonstrate high integrity and accountability Take initiative to drive improvements and embrace change Take accountability for business and regulatory compliance risks and implement effective mitigations Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory compliance, and emerging threats and technologies to proactively highlight concerns and risks Who We Are Founded in 1908, Great Eastern is a well-established market leader and trusted brand in Singapore and Malaysia.
