Position OverviewThe Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) Solution Architect is entrusted with the task of architecting, developing, and implementing robust solutions for MRO processes within the organization. This position acts as a vital link between business objectives and technological capabilities, guaranteeing that MRO systems are reliable, scalable, and align with the strategic direction of the enterprise. The MRO Solution Architect works closely with multidisciplinary teams encompassing Information Technology, maintenance, procurement, and operations to deliver superior MRO solutions.Key Responsibilities Solution Design: Direct the architecture, design, and configuration of MRO systems, ensuring consistency with enterprise strategies, best practices, and all applicable regulatory requirements. Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit and analyze business requirements, translating these into precise functional and technical specifications. System Integration: Supervise the integration of MRO solutions with other enterprise platforms, including but not limited to ERP, Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), supply chain, and procurement systems. Process Optimization: Identify and implement opportunities to enhance and optimize MRO processes, utilizing automation, analytics, and emerging technologies where appropriate. Technical Leadership: Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to project teams, ensuring adherence to established architectural standards and the delivery of high-quality solutions. Vendor Management: Assess, select, and oversee third-party vendors and solution providers required for MRO technology implementations. Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation, including design diagrams, data flowcharts, and integration specifications. Change Management: Support organizational change initiatives related to MRO technology deployment, ensuring seamless transitions for end users. Compliance and Security: Ensure that all MRO solutions conform to relevant data security, privacy legislation, and regulatory standards. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a closely related discipline is required; a Master's degree is preferred. Minimum of (15) years' experience in solution architecture, with demonstrated expertise in PM, MRO, EAM Proven record in the design and implementation of large-scale MRO or asset management solutions. Comprehensive understanding of MRO business processes, industry standards, and regulatory compliance. Experience with major MRO/EAM platforms ( SAP PM, EAM). Proficiency in system integration, data migration, and API management. Exemplary communication, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with both business and technical teams. Project management experience is considered advantageous. Knowledge in iMRO solution and relevant architecture design Experience in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, ITIL, PMP) are desirable.
