To lead in troubleshooting and root cause analysis during incident, and manage incidents, service status and escalations, and coordinate updates and communications with management and users. Manage contracts and relationships with third-party vendors, from selection and RFP to contracting. Support, implement, troubleshoot and manage on-prem and virtualised IT infrastructure for DWDM, voice operations and mobile servers to ensure stability, cyber-security and performance. Strong communication skills across many teams and cultures as well as reporting to various government regulatory departments. Provide and demonstrate expert IT support for our end users, in-office or remotely Train engineers/users on new processes, solutions and IT policies. Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor Skills for Success: Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical & Electronic and Mechanical Engineering Min 5+ years operations support experience and3+ years working in a IT support lead or IT engineering role Strong understanding of IT integration, cybersecurity and deployment The candidate must have good knowledge on telecommunications engineering and the working concepts of the transmission systems. Experience and knowledge in transmission equipment will be an added advantage, such as SDH, DWDM, GPON, MSAN, MD/ONU/, SIP IAD, CE). The candidate must have an analytical mind, fast response and dedication to resolving problems. The candidate must be able to demonstrate good interpersonal and communications skills and the ability to work as a team.
