Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging Tamil lessons tailored to students learning levels. Develop lesson plans, assignments, and assessments aligned with curriculum standards. Foster an interactive and inclusive classroom environment. Monitor and evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback. Encourage students to develop their speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension skills in Tamil. Incorporate modern teaching methodologies, including technology-based learning tools. Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and school administration regarding students progress. Participate in staff meetings, training programs, and school events. Maintain classroom discipline and encourage positive student behavior. Stay updated with the latest educational trends and best teaching practices in language instruction. Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelors or Masters degree in Tamil, Education, Linguistics, or a related field. Teaching certification or relevant credentials (preferred). Strong knowledge of Tamil grammar, literature, and culture. Excellent communication and classroom management skills. Ability to create engaging and innovative lesson plans. Passion for teaching and fostering a love for the Tamil language in students. Experience with online and digital teaching tools (preferred). Fluency in both Tamil and English is an advantage. Experience Minimum 1-3 years of teaching experience in Tamil language instruction (preferably at the primary or secondary level). Experience in curriculum development and student assessment methods. Familiarity with modern educational technology and e-learning platforms is a plus. Working Hours Full-time and part-time positions available. Standard school hours with occasional evening or weekend commitments for school events or parent meetings. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Deep understanding of Tamil language teaching techniques.
