Senior Sustainability Manager

At our Professional Officers Division, we bring industry expertise and technical skills together to create an environment where applied learning and innovation thrive. Reporting to the Team Lead of Resource Planning and Management, the Senior Sustainability Manager is responsible for driving sustainability initiatives, establishing policies and procedures, and leading effective management of lab resources to support operations.

  • Drive divisional initiatives on lab sustainability and provide guidance to Labs-in-charge in sustainable practices.
  • Prepare divisional sustainability dashboards, conduct data analytics, and implement process improvement projects on lab processes.
  • Promote resource efficiency, reduce environmental impact, and foster a culture of sustainability.
  • Establish and maintain processes for lab space changes and liaise with stakeholders.
  • Oversee lab resource planning for optimisation of lab utilization and capacity management.
  • Adept automation, technology, or process optimization to manage lab operation data for management reporting.
  • Establish and lead periodical review of Standard Operating Procedures to streamline workflows for continuous improvement in lab operations and equipment maintenance.
  • Function as part of the Resource Planning and Management Team to support activities and administrative needs, including proper documentation of records.

Requirements:

  • Possess a good degree with minimum 8 years of relevant experience in lab and sustainability management.
  • Passionate about environmental stewardship would be advantageous.
