Each year, the School graduates over a thousand students who are ready to take on great ambitions and challenges.For more details, please view:We are looking for a Senior Research Fellow to carry out and oversee research projects in multimodal, generative, and embodied AI. The role will focus on designing, developing, analyzing, and evaluating large AI models to push the current boundaries.**Key Responsibilities:*** Design LLM-centric solutions to frontier AI problems* Design experiments to analyze and evaluate the solutions* Oversee and perform research experimentations* Oversee and produce research manuscripts to publish at the top-tier venues* Stay abreast of the cutting-edge developments in AI research--particularly pertaining- Large language models- Multimodality- Model alignment and safety- Diffusion and flow-based generative models- Embodied AI* Exploration and development of new research avenues* Occasional administrative duties for the project**Job Requirements:*** PhD degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or related field.* Research experience with Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning/Large Language Model.* Publication track record in a series of top tier conference papers e..g, in NeuRIPS, ICLR, ACL, EMNLP and ICML is an advantage.* Excellent verbal and written communication skillsWe regret to inform that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.Hiring Institution: NTUNTU is also home to world-class autonomous institutes – the National Institute of Education, S Rajaratnam School of International Studies, Earth Observatory of Singapore, and Singapore Centre for Environmental Life Sciences Engineering – and various leading research centres such as the Nanyang Environment & Water Research Institute (NEWRI) and Energy Research Institute @ NTU ( ).Ranked amongst the world’s top universities by QS, NTU has also been named the world’s top young university for the past seven years.
