About re:Cycle Reverse Logistics re:Cycle Reverse Logistics is an electronics processing, reuse, and recycling company that works to extend the life of used electronic equipment through reuse, repair, and recycling. We are a stand‐alone company within the Amazon corporate family that provides services to other Amazon companies. We specialize in the handling of valuable electronic equipment originally used in data centers. Come join our team and be a part of history as we deliver results for the largest cloud services company on EarthPosition: Security Manager You will lead and uphold the high standards of the physical security protocols for an operational team that performs decommissioning services of Data Center Hardware in a high‐volume industrial environment. The team receives parts, performs sanitization procedures, maintains inventory, and performs visual inspections as needed following all data security and environmental compliance procedures. Key Responsibilities Maintain an extensive knowledge of complex industry trends, current security issues and security technology, and the risks and threats that could impact the operation. Perform annual risk analysis to provide leadership and best practices on security policy and practices. Support the operations team with security related advice, guidance, and contract security staff in achieving current and long‐range strategic program objectives. Collaborate with peers in other sites and regions to ensure the operations under your supervision provide a safe and secure environment and safeguard the protection of the assets within the operation. Educate stakeholders on the importance of emergency readiness, encourage a culture of security awareness, conduct regular drills and update all plans annually. Provide periodic performance, program and strategic roadmap briefings to senior leaders. Ideal Candidate Profile Confident, decisive, influential, and innovative leader able to communicate a compelling set of outcomes to be achieved. Presence and influence to define and enforce high standards for programs implemented and monitored at all levels. Comfortable with ambiguity, can define structure, processes, and standards where none yet exist. Basic Qualifications 5+ years experience managing contract security and physical security operation programs such as Access Control/Intrusion Detection and CCTV Surveillance systems. 5+ years Project Management experience. 5+ years creating process improvement procedures. 5+ years managing a team of individual contributors and vendors. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree and or equivalent professional experience in corporate or government security environment. 5+ years experience creating and implementing emergency planning programs, physical security countermeasures. Familiarity with security program automation and implementation. Familiarity with various Access/Intrusion Control Systems. Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non‐technical individuals regarding physical security standards and system designs.
