Responsibilities
Working closely with multiple Portfolio managers to operate and implement trading strategies
Starting and supervising Tower’s automated trading systems during Asian market hours
Assessing live trading for risk and compliance issues and quickly responding to unusual behaviors or market conditions
Working closely with risk managers and trading teams to alert key staff of any intraday trading issues and collaborating with Tower's core engineering team, brokers, and exchanges to resolve problems in real time
Documenting, monitoring procedures and logging production issues as they occur
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or related discipline(s) from a top-tier University
At least 1 year of professional experience in a trading role
Experience working in a fund management role or firm, including client servicing, portfolio construction and business development
Working knowledge of risk control of various asset classes such as Equities, Futures, Options, FX and Crypto markets
Understanding of high-frequency and medium frequency automated trading strategies
Understanding of exchange-specific rules and procedures
Extremely organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
Able to work in a fast paced, multi-tasked environment with high level of concentration
Able to work on flexible hours including weekend and public holidays
Experience with SQL, Python, and Linux (preferred)
Excellent communication skills and fluency in English for business purposes
