We are looking for an Engineering Manager to drive the end-to-end development of our embedded technology stack. You will lead teams, make critical technical decisions, and ensure the successful execution of high-performance embedded systems, firmware, and AI-driven applications from concept to deployment.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership
- Oversee the architecture, development, and optimization of embedded firmware, middleware, and system software for high-performance multi-processor ARM-based systems.
- Drive the integration of computer vision, deep learning models, radar signal processing, and embedded systems into efficient and scalable hardware solutions.
- Ensure seamless middleware implementation for real-time inter-process communication, memory management, and low-latency execution on embedded platforms.
- Lead firmware development, ensuring robust device control, driver optimization, and real-time data acquisition from cameras, radars, and sensors.
- Optimize system performance, power efficiency, and reliability for edge computing and AI acceleration applications.
- Develop and optimize Embedded Linux environments, including kernel modifications, device drivers, and system-level optimizations for high-performance computing.
- Stay ahead of the latest embedded systems technologies, AI-driven hardware architectures, and hardware acceleration frameworks.
Project Execution & Delivery
- End-to-End Project Ownership: Drive the full product lifecycle-from concept, design, development, and prototyping to manufacturing, testing, and deployment.
- Team & Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (software, hardware, ML engineers) and manage technical challenges, scope, and timelines.
- Execution & Risk Management: Identify and mitigate technical, operational, and execution risks to keep projects on track.
- Ensure the on-time and high-quality execution of engineering projects, implementing best practices in software and hardware development.
Requirements
- MS/MEng/PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in embedded systems, firmware, middleware, and computer vision applications
- Strong expertise in C/C++, Python for real-time, low-latency applications in computer vision or signal processing
- Deep understanding of middleware frameworks, multi-core processing, inter-process communication, and Embedded Linux development
- Hands-on experience with ARM multi-core architectures, and real-time embedded systems
- Strong expertise in firmware development, low-level device drivers, and kernel-space programming for Embedded Linux
- Experience with radar signal processing, sensor fusion, and deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, ONNX, etc.)
- Proven experience managing complex hardware-software integration projects
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Excellent communication skills to translate technical details to both engineering teams and business stakeholders
