About the Role:-We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Android Engineer to join our mobile development team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining advanced applications for the Android platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features that deliver a seamless user experience. Key Responsibilities:- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform using Kotlin and Java. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Work with outside data sources and APIs. Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability. Work on bug fixing and improving application performance. Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency. Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing. Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of experience in Android development. Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java. Experience with Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes. Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services. Strong understanding of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices. Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning. Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git. Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools.
