Data Center Site Manager

Meta is seeking a Data Center Site Manager to provide exceptional engineering, operations, and people leadership at our data center. The role is a key leadership position in the global Data Center Site Operations team, ensuring the infrastructure meets current and future needs of Meta and our global community. Responsibilities Deliver world‐class data center infrastructure to Meta and the global community, working with teams at site and across the globe. Become a technical expert in Meta's infrastructure, including platforms, tools, systems, architecture, workflows, and performance. Build and lead a world‐class engineering operations team, delivering insights, solutions, practices, and tools to efficiently manage a hyperscale server footprint. Analyze and drive continuous improvement in engineering and operational performance. Employ data analytics to identify inefficiencies, opportunities, exceptions, and correlations in a complex environment, enabling rapid problem solving and proactive risk mitigation. Build quality assurance, continuous improvement, safety, security, and data protection processes into standard practices. Lead the adoption of new technologies at scale and drive innovation that improves tooling, workflows, and technologies. Develop and lead a high‐performing team to support ongoing business and operational needs. Build cross‐functional relationships to influence engineering and operations across Meta, improving performance of the global data center fleet. Act as crisis manager during large‐scale site‐wide or region‐wide production events, serving as the primary point of contact for incident response. Represent Meta in community and public forums, coordinating with the Community Development Team. Minimum Qualifications BS in Engineering or related Computer Science/IT Management. 15+ years of engineering or operations experience, preferably at VP or Director level. Aptitude for problem‐solving with advanced knowledge of analytics and lean methodologies. Ability to influence effectively on cross‐functional teams and adapt teams to evolving needs. Demonstrated leadership, strategic thinking, organization, and business‐planning abilities. Passionate technologist who leverages technical, operations, and engineering expertise to build strategy. Comfortable working in a fast‐paced, hands‐on environment with deep technical knowledge of data center infrastructure trends. Proficient communication skills in English as the primary business language, with experience communicating across disciplines, all levels, and externally at public events. Ability to travel up to 30%. Preferred Qualifications Experience managing data center operations in Singapore and across the broader APAC region. Local, legal, and regulatory knowledge in Singapore.
