Job Title: Construction Cost Expert

We are seeking a skilled construction cost expert to prepare detailed estimates and assist in budgeting for projects.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Estimate Costs: Prepare accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for construction projects by analyzing project requirements, material costs, and labor costs.
  • Contract Administration: Administer and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
  • Tender Evaluation: Evaluate and analyze tender submissions to ensure alignment with project requirements and budget constraints.
  • Cost Control: Monitor project costs and progress, providing forecasts and reports to ensure projects remain on budget.
  • Valuations and Payments: Conduct valuations and process contractor payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Risk Management: Identify and assess potential project risks, implementing measures to mitigate them.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure accurate and efficient project delivery.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation including contracts, change orders, and cost analysis reports.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or any relevant discipline.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in quantity surveying.
