As part of the GM International Branches Team, your role is to work closely with the ALT, and other teams across C&IB to support key strategic and operational priorities for Asia
Key Accountabilities:
Support the Asia Executive in delivering the C&IB strategy into #TeamAsia. Support and involvement in the Blueprint design and Killer Initiative delivery
Align the ALT and elevate the focus on key client, business and financial objectives
Own and deliver key C&IB initiatives which are focused on Asia including Blueprint
Develop and execute a high-quality cadence/agenda for the ALT, Offsites, Executive Visits, and ensure follow-through on key actions
Proactively manage risk; meet all policy and compliance requirements and oversight progress of key customer, audit issue resolution and business issues
Input to and delivery of content for senior audiences including Group, CEO, Board and ELT papers as required
Engage and actively work with senior executives and business partners across C&IB and NAB to report and update on business initiatives and/or issues
Delivery of high-quality leadership events / meetings, effective functioning of the ALT and constructive engagement with key stakeholders/teams
Contribution towards the Asia alignment with the C&IB strategy and execution of key strategic priorities through the Blueprint & Killer Initiatives
Successful delivery of key strategic and operational initiatives, particularly relating to simplification and efficiency
Proactively manage financial and non-financial risks, role-model and advocate risk behaviours
Killer Capabilities :
Deep understanding of C&IB International Branches and the Australian C&IB markets, product types and client segments
Excellent influencing, engagement and communication skills; ability to work comfortably with senior leaders, form a balanced point of view and bring differing opinions to alignment
Ability to build trusted relationships across the business at all levels
Analytical, with strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to get into the detail and drive execution/results
Excellent listening skills, able to absorb and synthesise a wide range of opinions/information and draw out the critical issues
Project management skills and experience. Exposure to Group wide strategic development desirable.
Effective interpersonal skills to provide advice directly to managers in the business on a range of topics or activities, including approaches for communication or implementing initiatives.

Qualification Requirements
Tertiary qualified with degree in Business, Finance or related disciplines.
Certified Public Accountant or Chartered Accountant
Experience
+10 years of professional experience in banking, with a strong emphasis on C&IB
Experience with Regulatory and Operational Risk across multi jurisdictions (China, Japan, Australia, Singapore)
Deep understanding of banking processes across the value chain
Strong financial acumen to handle budgets, forecasts and P&L management
5+ years in Professional Services Firm
