This Vice President will play a key role within the Asset Management (AM) Marketing team, leading product and content marketing, mainly in the Third-Party Wealth (TPW) client channel across APAC ex Japan. The TPW client channel includes wealth managers, private and retail banks, and fund platforms.
The VP will partner with investment teams to define product / asset class positioning, develop narratives, messaging strategy, and execute on a suite of collaterals required. They will also work across the AM Marketing team to provide inputs for product campaigns, new launches, and broader commercial objectives.
The VP will also play a key role in post-event content creation.
Position Responsibilities
Marketing implementation:
Execute strategic marketing plans to build awareness and affinity for AM's investment capabilities.
Product and broader asset class narrative:
Craft product propositions and messaging suited for intended channel / audience (mainly TPW, institutional channels where required).
Collateral production and calendar:
Develop and create marketing collateral (newsletters, presentations, publications, webpages, etc.) in partnership with AM's design team or vendor. Map out collateral calendar to maintain awareness and consideration.
Focus funds, launches, and campaigns:
Work on product positioning and messaging for go-to-market plans around focus funds, launches, and campaigns, collaborating with regional and global marketing colleagues.
Post-conference content creation:
Play a key role in post-event production of video highlights and takeaways for digital channels.
Measurement and reporting:
Collaborate with Marketing Technology team to analyze digital asset usage and optimize impact.
Risk management:
Maintain adherence to regulatory and procedural guidelines for all marketing communications, proactively managing operational risk.
Team connectivity:
Participate actively in the AM Marketing team, sharing best practices, engaging in regional and cross-regional programs, and contributing to overall success.
Partnership and collaboration:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, global partners, corporate communications, sales, investment heads, and key stakeholders.
Qualifications
10+ years in a similar role within a leading financial institution, with a proven track record of measurable impacts and achievements.
Good knowledge of investment concepts, with ability to present investment views clearly and develop compelling stories.
Excellent written, influencing, and presentation skills with keen attention to detail.
In-depth industry knowledge: clients, products, regulations, competitors.
Strategic thinking, commercial awareness, and business acumen.
Strong time management skills and ability to handle competing priorities.
Experience working effectively across complex organizations and engaging with partners at all levels.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards.
Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS); CFA preferred.
