You will play an important role in the research and development of sequencing reagents and consumables with the world-class performance, stability and robustness characteristics that our customers require.**Position Responsibilities:*** Be the main contributor of project and lead investigation to solve cross-functional problems in collaboration with key stakeholders* Plan and optimize research ideas leading to new methods and chemistries for sequencing in a fast-paced environment* Explore new technologies and identify creative solutions to overcome current limitations* Design, implement, analyze and present experiments to demonstrate feasibility of new technology* Be a collaborative team member and individual contributor.* Conduct clear and concise communication with colleagues (cross-functional) and supervisors through oral updates, written reports and technical meetingsListed responsibilities are an essential, but not exhaustive list, of the usual duties associated with the position. Changes to individual responsibilities may occur due to business needs.**Position Requirements:*** Proven track record in innovation, scientific creativity and scientific output in new chemistry, bioconjugates and material science* Expert in synthesis and analytical techniques for small molecules, nucleosides, nucleotides, oligonucleotides and/or peptides* Excellent laboratory, experimental and organizational skills* Strong team player with proven collaboration, innovation, and openness character traits.* Collaborates effectively at a program level and with stakeholders* Attention to detail* A self-starter, positive, and driven with a “can do” attitude.* Excellent verbal/written communication skillsAll listed requirements are deemed as essential functions to this position; however, business conditions may require reasonable accommodations for additional tasks and responsibilities.**Preferred Experience/Education/Skills:*** Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.### ###
