We are seeking a versatile and skilled AI Engineer to design, develop, and integrate Generative AI solutions across our suite of applications. In this role, you will contribute to various projects, leveraging your backend engineering expertise to deliver tangible results. You will be responsible for building intelligent features, from chatbots to AI-powered content tools, by connecting our systems to large language models (LLM) and implementing sophisticated RAG architectures. Key Responsibilities Architect and build production-ready AI features and services within our backend systems Implement and optimize end-to-end AI workflows, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), prompt engineering, and function calling to solve specific business problems. Develop and maintain robust RESTful APIs to connect our AI services with various front-end and back-end components. Utilize AI orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain) to manage complex interactions with LLM APIs efficiently and reliably. Monitor and improve the latency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness of our AI systems. Work within an agile environment, collaborating closely with product managers and other engineers to deliver high-impact solutions. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 2+ years of professional software development experience. Strong proficiency in at least one of our primary backend languages: Node.js or JAVA. Experience working in a polyglot environment is highly desirable. Proven experience building applications using managed AI services on major cloud platforms (e.g., Azure OpenAI, Google Vertex AI, AWS Bedrock). Hands-on experience with the concepts and implementation of RAG, embeddings, and vector stores. Familiarity with AI orchestration frameworks like LangChain. Solid experience with API design (REST) and microservices architecture. Experience with containerization (Docker) and CI/CD workflows. A proactive problem-solver with strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to new challenges and technologies. #J-18808-Ljbffr
