Job Description Assist and guide on‐site installation and removal of mechanical seals Conduct initial assessment and inspection of pumps and seals on site Support commissioning and startup of seal systems Perform comprehensive 5‐point checks on equipment prior to seal installation Lead site tours, identify preventive measures (e.g. monitor temperature, pressure for Plan 11/13, Plan 52/53A/B/C, flow on Plan 54, bearing oil condition, general leakage), and proactively implement recommendations to prevent seal failures Coordinate seal activation and tracking Ensure prompt repair, maintenance, and replacement of seals Prepare detailed inspection reports and carry out failure analyses Undertake Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on recurring or problematic equipment ("bad actors")Manage reliability data: trending, analysis, and reporting Organize monthly (Alliance Improvement Team), quarterly and annual meetings with stakeholders Produce monthly and annual reports for internal and external stakeholders Oversee inventory management and optimization; conduct audits on seal parts Investigate systematic and chronic failures; devise and execute plans to eliminate root causes Maintain and update equipment and seal failure history database using John Crane Interface Reliability Management software for all contract‐scope assets Perform root cause and failure mode assessments; deliver actionable recommendations and comprehensive reports Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) on a regular basis Engage with customers to understand their needs, review seal installations, develop engineering proposals to optimize systems, quantify benefits, and present solutions Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferably Mechanical Engineering)3 to 8 years in a relevant technical role Strong understanding of pumps and mechanical seals in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical industries Familiarity with API standards Field experience in installation, commissioning, and maintenance of pumps and seals Exposure to condition monitoring techniques (e.g. vibration analysis, ultrasound analysis, motion amplification) is a plus Self‐driven and result oriented Strong problem‐solving capabilities Equal Opportunity Employment We believe that different perspectives and backgrounds are what make a company flourish.
