Professor Level E, 0.35 FTE, UNSW Business School of Banking and Finance. This is a fixed-term role with scope to contribute to AI in Finance at the postgraduate level.

Duration: 3 Years
Remuneration: $237,784 Level E (pro rata) plus 17% superannuation and leave loading
Location: Kensington Campus (Hybrid Flexible Working)

Why Your Role Matters
A Professor (Level E) is expected to provide academic leadership and foster excellence in research, teaching, and engagement. This role is to drive AI and its application in Finance and to develop a rigorous AI-in-Finance curriculum for PhD students. The role reports to the Head of School and has no direct reports.
We are recruiting a Professor Level E, 0.35FTE to drive Artificial Intelligence and its application in Finance. We are looking for a leader who can develop a rigorous curriculum in AI in Finance for PhD students.
About You (Selection Criteria)
To be successful you must have:
A PhD in a related discipline, and a proven commitment to staying up to date with discipline knowledge and developments.
Demonstrated experience in teaching and learning design, course development and delivery at postgraduate level.
Experience implementing educational technologies and online delivery methods.
Evidence of teaching effectiveness and passion for educational excellence and fostering this in others.
An understanding of and commitment to UNSW’s aims, objectives and values, and relevant policies and guidelines.
