The laboratory, led by Assoc Prof Tan Meng How.**Key Responsibilities:*** Works on developing and applying cutting edge biotechnologies, including high throughput next generation (NGS) sequencing and CRISPR-Cas, to read, write, and decipher genomes and transcriptomes in living cells.* Involved in efforts to develop and/or apply new tools and methodologies to push the boundaries of genomics and RNA biology and to gain deep insights into RNA editing and the ADAR family of enzymes.**Job Requirements:*** PhD degree from a reputable university in science or engineering* Strong research experience in biological sciences, bioengineering, biotechnology, or a related discipline (such as genomics, genetics, computational biology, cell biology, molecular biology, synthetic biology etc.)* An outstanding publication track record, preferably with a first-author paper in a high-impact journal* Demonstrated an ability to work well in a team* Good working knowledge of the latest genomic technologiesTo apply, please submit a CV, brief statement of research interests, and contact information for at least two references to We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.Hiring Institution: NTUNTU is also home to world-class autonomous institutes – the National Institute of Education, S Rajaratnam School of International Studies, Earth Observatory of Singapore, and Singapore Centre for Environmental Life Sciences Engineering – and various leading research centres such as the Nanyang Environment & Water Research Institute (NEWRI) and Energy Research Institute @ NTU ( ).Ranked amongst the world’s top universities by QS, NTU has also been named the world’s top young university for the past seven years.
