Sophisticated Technology Specialist
Overview
The company seeks a skilled and innovative technology professional to join their team as a Sophisticated Technology Specialist. This role will involve working on the development, maintenance, and enhancement of ERP system features and functionality, utilizing Python for data processing and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement solutions using Python to support internal reporting, forecasting, and AI model preparation.
  • Maintain and enhance frontend features using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Design and manage PostgreSQL database structures to ensure optimal performance.
  • Support version control using Git for managing source code and development workflows.
  • Generate analytical reports using tools like Excel and Power BI to support decision-making.
Qualifications and Skills
Qualified candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, with at least 2 years of experience in software development or data analysis roles. Proficiency in Python is required, along with solid experience in data processing and scripting. Familiarity with JavaScript frontend development and basic HTML/CSS is also essential. Additionally, candidates should be skilled in PostgreSQL or other relational databases, with experience in design and optimization. Basic data visualization and reporting skills using Excel, Power BI, or similar tools are necessary. Strong learning agility, communication, and teamwork skills are highly valued.
Bonus Points
Candidates with experience working with Odoo ERP or other enterprise application platforms, familiarity with business processes in procurement, inventory, manufacturing, or production scheduling, or exposure to data modeling or AI-driven solutions will be considered advantageous. A good understanding of AI and Gen AI technologies and concepts is also desirable. Experience with SAP Business One integration via Integration Layer using SOAP or Service Layer (REST API) is an added benefit.
