Job Title: AI/ML Engineer (Cybersecurity Applications)
Salary: $6,000 – $7,500/month
Contract Duration: 12 months (extendable)
Eligibility: Singaporeans only

Job Description:

GovTech's Cybersecurity Division is seeking an AI/ML Engineer to develop next-generation cyber defense solutions. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy applying AI to solve real-world challenges, especially in the national security domain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build agentic AI workflows and SOC automation with human-in-the-loop approval
  • Design and manage vector search systems for real-time intelligence retrieval
  • Deploy cloud AI services (AWS Sagemaker/Bedrock, Google Vertex AI)
  • Develop CI/CD pipelines and containerised deployments (Docker/Kubernetes)
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity experts to deliver impactful AI solutions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
  • 2–3 years' hands-on experience in:
    Python, NLP, Computer Vision
    Vector databases and CI/CD practices
    LangChain and AI/LLM-powered applications
  • Familiarity with data warehousing (Amazon Redshift, BigQuery) an advantage
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn
