Job Description The selected personnel would be expected to play an important role in providing professional care to patients. In addition, this role would require the applicant to: Conducting thorough assessments of patients’ social circumstances, lifestyle practices, and dietary habits to deliver individualized counselling and facilitate improved understanding and management of diabetes. Engaging in close collaboration with the Endocrinologist to formulate and implement tailored care plans that promote optimal diabetes control. Providing comprehensive education to patients on insulin administration techniques, glucose monitoring (via glucometer or continuous glucose monitoring systems), interpretation of glucose profiles, and other diabetes-related counselling, across both inpatient and outpatient care settings. Supporting the clinic’s quality improvement initiatives to enhance clinical outcomes and service delivery processes. Executing any other responsibilities as may be assigned by the Reporting Officer. The Successful Applicant You will be a self-driven and motivated employee with good knowledge and concept of nursing operations. In addition, you must possess Diploma/Degree in Nursing with a Specialist Diploma in Diabetes Education Good interpersonal and communication skills Demonstrated experience in providing comprehensive health education to patients with diabetes.
