About the Role As a Functional and Test Analyst , you will be responsible for gathering and translating business requirements into functional specifications, supporting the design and configuration of technology solutions, and leading testing activities to ensure solution quality. You will work closely with clients, developers, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact technology solutions that align with business objectives. Key Responsibilities Functional Analysis Partner with business stakeholders to understand processes and gather requirements. Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and process flows. Liaise between business users and technical teams to support solution design. Conduct gap analysis and recommend process enhancements or system improvements. Create and maintain detailed documentation such as BRDs, FRDs, and use cases. Testing & Quality Assurance Develop and execute test plans, test scenarios, and test cases aligned with business requirements. Conduct multiple testing phases including system, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Manage the defect lifecycle, ensuring timely tracking, retesting, and closure of issues. Ensure delivered solutions meet business expectations and comply with quality standards. Support UAT execution and facilitate stakeholder sign-offs. Project Delivery & Support Provide deployment and post-go-live support, ensuring smooth transition and adoption. Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Contribute to project estimation, planning, and status reporting. Collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple geographies to ensure seamless delivery. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, or a related field. Proven experience in a functional or QA role within large-scale technology or transformation projects. Strong understanding of SDLC and familiarity with Agile or Waterfall methodologies. Proficiency in tools such as JIRA , HP ALM , TestRail , or equivalent. Domain knowledge in healthcare , finance , or public sector is advantageous. Must-Have Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
