**Job Title:** Maintenance Technician

About the Role:

This role requires a maintenance technician to support start-up, maintenance and service activities with emphasis on safety and protection. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine preventive maintenance, logging, corrective maintenance works and carrying out warranty repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance Activities: Perform routine preventive maintenance, logging, corrective maintenance works and carry out warranty repairs.
  • Safety Equipment Service: Participate in service and repair of personnel protection equipment, safety activities, emergency response, breakdown calls.
  • Order Management: Manage all orders efficiently until fulfilment stage, by working closely with Service team.
  • Liaison and Communication: Liaison with relevant parties such as customers, service supervisor, coordinators and logistic.
  • Equipment Turnaround: Ensure equipment turnaround and breakdown responses are achieved at optimal level of efficiency.
  • Workplace Safety & Health: Participate/take up Workplace Safety & Health responsibilities/activities as per requested by the company.

Requirements:

  • Qualification: Diploma in Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in servicing/equipment maintenance, especially in Safety Equipment, Gas Systems, or Process Instrumentations.
  • Driving License: Possess a Class 3B driving license.
  • Availability: Able to commit to standby duty on weekends or odd hours when required.
  • Skills: Good analytical and communication skills with customer service oriented.
