IT Operations Support Specialist

As an IT Operations Support Specialist, you will be part of a 24/7 shift team providing first-line technical support to ensure uninterrupted operations. Your responsibilities include maintaining IT service availability, ensuring machine connectivity, monitoring application and system performance, managing data transfers, and maintaining security compliance. You will also handle, track, and elevate incidents and service requests related to FIS applications, networking, databases, and servers. Key Responsibilities Provide 24x7 technical support in rotating shifts (including nights, weekends, and holidays). Receive and handle service requests following standard procedures. Identify, diagnose, and resolve issues promptly, escalating complex cases as needed. Maintain detailed records of incidents, service requests, and resolutions. Classify and analyze incident patterns to support continuous improvement. Collaborate with the global support team to ensure quick issue resolution and system recovery. Support information security compliance by ensuring all factory systems align with global security standards and remain in a safe operating environment. Required Skills & Experience Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field. Good understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems; familiarity with virtual machine (VM) environments. Proficiency in basic computer operations and Microsoft tools. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a team environment. Good command of English (spoken and written). Preferred Skills Experience in data analysis and programming (e.g., .NET, JavaScript, Python, C#, C++). Exposure to REST APIs, web backend, SQL/NoSQL databases, and DevOps CI/CD tools. #J-18808-Ljbffr
