Culinary Team Member
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our culinary team as a Kitchen Assistant. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cook and prepare a variety of food products with training provided
- Manage food preparations, cooking, safety, and hygiene practices to ensure high-quality culinary experiences
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of kitchen areas
- Uphold personal hygiene and dress code standards
- Communicate effectively across departments from kitchen to front of house
- Manage inventory and stock receipt
- Support service crew during quiet periods
Requirements:
- Basic cooking skills to prepare bar food (mainly deep-frying)
- Able to research and develop simple dishes
- Outgoing, presentable, and service-oriented personality
- Team player with discipline and self-starting qualities
- Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- No prior experience required; candidates welcome to apply
