What will you be doing?
We are looking for enthusiastic and creative IT and Satellite Communications Field Services engineer to be part of our growing team. You will be a member of our Field Service Management Team that provides five-star customer service and promotes this idea throughout the organization. The goal is to increase customer satisfaction, loyalty, retention, and meet customers' expectations. Your focus will be on providing technical installations to customers, specifically Marine vessels located internationally in ports.
This role requires business travel at least 50% of the time.
Requirements
Degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering/Networking or equivalent
Very good knowledge of Maritime Satellite communications systems (VSAT, FBB, Fleet Family, Iridium)
Experience in marine industry's working environment
Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, Networking, Firewall technologies, and server administration
Fluent in English
Great to have
At least 2 years working experience as a Field engineer in the Maritime sector
Cisco Certifications in networking will be considered a plus
