We are seeking a Junior Java Developer to handle all aspects of the development lifecycle for our Global Markets FX E-Trading and E-Distribution System. Responsibilities include coding, deployment, system integration, and documentation. Key tasks include:
Deliver tactical and strategic improvements to large-scale in-house products.
Define system scope and objectives through research and analysis to develop or modify complex information systems.
Design, develop, and test Java-based solutions using frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate.
Translate software requirements into maintainable solutions within existing frameworks.
Manage the product lifecycle from design to deployment and maintenance.
Develop and follow best practices for application development.
Contribute to team performance and collaboration.
Collaborate effectively across teams.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields.
Strong experience with Java (Spring Boot, Hibernate); knowledge of other programming languages is a plus.
Knowledge of JavaScript, Angular, or React is advantageous.
Proficiency in SQL (select, join, union, group by, etc.).
Experience with Maven, Git, and Bitbucket.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Knowledge of Data Dictionaries, Templates, Workflows.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Interest in financial markets; knowledge of financial products is a plus.
Strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Fluent in English with good communication skills.
