The Role As a Data Engineer at Kyndryl, you will shape our data platforms into powerful tools for decision‐makers, ensuring pristine, harmonized data is available to everyone. This role is about transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions and innovation. You will design, build and maintain data pipelines, cleanse and transform data, and collaborate closely with stakeholders to meet business needs. Key Responsibilities Gather and analyze stakeholder requirements for new dashboard development and business insights. Understand business requirements and propose suitable solutions by selecting appropriate services. Design, develop and maintain dashboards and analytical workflows to support business decision‐making. Collect, clean, and transform data from various sources to support new analytical requirements. Collaborate with stakeholders to iteratively develop and refine dashboard solutions. Create user‐friendly interfaces and visualizations that enhance business workflow efficiency. Ensure dashboard performance optimization and user accessibility. Provide ongoing support and enhancements based on user feedback. Support data validation and quality assurance during migration processes. Assist with preparation for Phase 3 scaling initiatives for statutory boards. Support customization of scripts and dashboards for different organizational contexts. Who You Are You're experienced in data engineering, possess a growth mindset, and are customer‐focused. Required Skills and Experience Strong experience in business intelligence and dashboard development. Data visualization and analytics expertise. Proficiency with AWS analytics and AI services (SageMaker, QuickSight, Athena, Lambda). Experience with ETL processes, data pipeline design, and serverless data processing workflows. Deep knowledge of data governance, architecture, and quality assessment techniques. Expertise in SQL for complex data queries and analysis. Understanding of AWS data lake architecture and analytics pipelines. Strong background in Tableau and QuickSight dashboard development and performance optimization. Ability to guide users in developing data taxonomy, naming conventions, and metadata standards. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions. Experience in stakeholder engagement, business requirements gathering, and user interview facilitation. Knowledge of HR business processes and workflows is preferred. Experience in change management and user adoption strategies. Ability to present complex data insights in clear, actionable formats and to create training documentation.
