Overview As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for operating and driving truck vehicles to transport goods and materials from one location to another. Responsibilities Vehicle Operation: Safely operate truck vehicles to transport various types of goods and materials between specified locations, adhering to traffic rules and regulations. Cargo Loading and Unloading: Ensure the proper loading and securement of cargo onto the trailer truck, and supervise the unloading process at the destination. Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to all safety procedures and protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with transportation regulations. Documentation: Complete all necessary paperwork, including delivery notes, logs, and trip reports accurately and on time. Communication: Maintain effective communication with dispatchers and logistics teams, updating them on delivery status, potential delays, and any relevant incidents. Emergency Response: Demonstrate quick thinking and appropriate actions in the event of emergencies, accidents, or unforeseen circumstances while on the road. Soil Truck Driver: Soil moving Euro 4Job Requirements Valid Class 4 driver's license required. Proven experience as a Truck Driver or in a similar driving position preferred. Strong understanding of traffic rules, regulations, and safety standards. Ability to handle heavy machinery and cargo safely and efficiently. Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and promoting a culture of safety. Physical Requirements Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks related to cargo loading and unloading. Comfortable sitting for extended periods while driving.
