We’re hiring contract, work-from-home Mandarin AI Trainers to improve voice technologies through high-quality audio transcription. Role Overview Listen to short Mandarin audio clips and transcribe exactly as spoken using Simplified Chinese (简体中文). Follow a clear style guide, apply high-level annotation conventions, leave brief notes when helpful, and collaborate in a quality review process to ensure consistent accuracy. Schedule & Commitment Work from home with a flexible schedule At least 2–4 hours per day for the next 10 days Preference given to 4–6+ hours per day during this period Qualifications Native proficiency in Mandarin (required) with excellent literacy in Simplified Chinese (no Traditional characters, no pinyin/romanization)Strong listening skills; comfort with colloquial speech and varied accents Experience with audio transcription, ASR datasets, or linguistic annotation (preferred)Reliability, attention to detail, and ability to follow written guidelines precisely Stable internet, quality headphones, and a quiet workspace Seniority Level Entry level Employment Type Contract Job Function Education and Training Industries Software Development Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at OpenTrain AI by 2x Get notified about new Instructor jobs in Singapore.
