Job Description We're implementing a new Commodity Trading and Risk Management (CTRM) system - a transformational initiative that will modernise our trading operations, strengthen controls, and enable data-driven decision making across the T&S value chain. As the Technology Delivery Lead Business Analyst, you'll play a key role in shaping and delivering the technical design, integration, and configuration of the new CTRM solution. Partnering closely with business and technology stakeholders, you'll ensure the system is built to meet business needs, aligns with Ampol's enterprise architecture, and delivers measurable value across Trading, Risk, Operations, and Finance. You'll bring a structured, analytical mindset and the ability to translate business requirements into clear technical solutions that connect process, data, and technology - bridging functional intent with technical execution. Key responsibilities Lead end-to-end technology delivery of the CTRM solution across technical design, integration, testing, and implementation. Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and configuration artefacts. Partner with vendors and internal IT teams to validate design, integrations, and interfaces across systems. Oversee analysis, configuration, and testing activities to ensure solution integrity and performance. Design and document key integration points between CTRM and surrounding systems (ERP/SAP, risk analytics, data warehouse, market data feeds). Define data mapping, transformation, and validation rules to maintain consistency across the trading and financial ecosystem. Collaborate with Data and Reporting teams to enable accurate reporting and BI delivery. Support SIT and UAT execution, defect management, data migration, and cutover activities. Provide regular updates on progress, risks, and dependencies to program leadership. Qualifications 8-10 years' experience as a Technology or Systems Business Analyst or Delivery Lead on large-scale transformation programs Strong background in CTRM, ETRM, ERP, or related systems implementation and integration. Proven experience translating business requirements into technical design and interface specifications. Understanding of trade lifecycle processes and data flows across front, middle, and back office. Experience managing vendors and coordinating technical delivery across multiple squads. Knowledge of SQL, APIs, and integration patterns; confident engaging with developers and architects. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
