The Opportunity:
We are looking for Senior Staff Nurse/ Nurse Clinician – Specialty Care (Wound and Stoma) to join us for various disciplines to provide high quality patient care.
Job Responsibilities:
The incumbent shall be responsible to:
Provide support to clinical areas in managing complex wounds and stoma.
Provide clinical expert knowledge to patients.
Support the patients and carers with complex wounds and stoma.
Be accountable for assessment, planning and delivery of all aspects of patient care with complex wounds/stoma.
Provide supportive care to assist patients living with complex wounds/stoma ensuring that care is personalised and the holistic needs of patients are met.
Provide inpatient/outpatient/community hospital support to patients.
Provide education and training, clinical advice and support to patients, relatives and hospital staff.
Act as a resource for management of patients with complex wounds in the clinical setting.
Comply with the hospital mission, vision and core values.
Job Requirements:
Degree in Nursing or State Registered Nurse certificate.
Relevant Advanced Nursing Diploma or equivalent is preferred for candidates applying for the Senior Staff Nurse position.
Recognised Wound care qualification is needed for Nurse Clinician position.
Minimum 5 years in clinical practice with 3 years in an inpatient setting.
Experience in managing complex wounds is an added advantage.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
