Acronis is seeking a Senior Software Developer to play a crucial role in building and enhancing our security part of Platform components and services. WHAT YOU'LL DO
Develop and maintain scalable and resilient cloud solutions using Go Lang and Python.
Perform code reviews and implement security enhancements to align with industry best practices.
Work closely with the security team to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the Acronis Cyber Cloud platform.
Analyze, optimize, and ensure the performance and reliability of solutions.
Guide and mentor team members in adopting secure software development practices.
WHAT YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
Proficiency in Go Lang and Python with a strong track record of building cloud services.
Application Security Expertise:
Experience in identifying and mitigating application vulnerabilities.
Hands-on experience with tools like OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, or similar for vulnerability assessments.
Familiarity with secure development frameworks (e.g., OWASP SAMM, NIST 800-64, ISO/IEC 27034).
Experience in secure code reviews and a proactive approach to identifying potential risks.
Knowledge of core software engineering principles: algorithms, data structures, multithreading, web services, and REST APIs.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD systems and build/deployment tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket).
Bonus: Training or certifications in Secure Software Development (e.g., SANS Institute certifications).
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields; Master’s Degree preferred.
