Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Temporary Billing Clerk to support our finance department during a peak period. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, verifying billing data, and ensuring accuracy in accounts receivable functions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum ITE, Nitec/Higher Nitec, O-Level or Diploma in Business Admin/ Accounting/Finance or equivalent
  • Prior experience in billing or administrative roles preferred
  • Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks)
  • Meticulous, organized, and able to meet tight deadlines
  • Able to start work immediately or on short notice

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 6pm
Remuneration: Based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate and issue accurate invoices to clients
  • Match delivery orders and job sheets to billing data
  • Follow up on outstanding billing issues and resolve discrepancies
  • Ensure timely data entry and record-keeping in accounting software
  • Support monthly closing activities and assist with reporting
  • Communicate with internal departments and customers regarding billing queries
