  • Maintain consistent expertise in physiotherapy and related domains.
  • Demonstrate accountability for work quality within the profession.
  • Ensure accurate patient documentation, records, and statistics to reflect care provided and meet professional standards.
  • Conduct clinical assessments, analyses, and diagnoses autonomously to determine patient needs for physiotherapy or occupational therapy intervention within specialist areas.
  • Apply evidence-based practice to plan, implement, evaluate, treat, and progress patient care autonomously to maximize health outcomes.
  • Manage complex and challenging cases effectively within areas of specialty.
  • Maintain and manage department caseloads efficiently.
  • Communicate recommendations to healthcare teams, patients, and family members to optimize patient care.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in physiotherapy and occupational therapy service modalities.
  • Orientate, supervise, and advise staff when required on patient care.
  • Work with Therapy Assistants on administrative responsibilities.
  • Educate Therapy Assistants on patient management, treatment procedures, and equipment use.
  • Perform other duties as directed by supervisors.

  • Full registration with The Allied Health Professions Council
  • Responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and providing good advice on physiotherapy and occupational therapy services
