Job Purpose:
Prospect and develop new international franchise accounts
Manage, nurture existing accounts and secure new international franchise accounts
Implement franchise development and commercial strategies to grow franchise revenue
Participate in franchise trainings with regards to products, processes, systems, operations, marketing, and others
Oversee Trade road shows to market to prospective franchisees
Travel overseas to meet existing franchisees as well as develop new franchisees
Deliver timely management reports
Job Responsibilities:
International Franchise Revenue
Generate international franchise revenue, market development and business results
Achieve budgeted sales revenue and margins for the business unit within the financial year and Long-Range Plan
Support franchise and business projects, including pricing, costing, and franchise sales budgeting
Implement franchise-related and market strategies to achieve market share defined in the strategic and tactical plans
Demonstrate ability to up-sell and enforce proprietary products into existing/new clients
Execute territory/region sales/business plans with overall business strategy
Channel Management
Develop new international franchise accounts
Source for new leads, participate in negotiating, developing, and nurturing new strategic franchise partnerships to grow the international markets year-on-year
Manage international key accounts and projects through a functional approach
Support customer contract negotiations and prepare contracts or agreements
Develop and maintain key customer relationships
Provide ongoing franchise support
Training
Support L&D initiatives and participate in training (where appropriate/assigned) on franchise business systems, processes, new business initiatives, operations, and others to the international franchise network
Management Reports
Provide weekly/monthly/annual reporting (such as franchise sales funnel, forecasting) as required to inform management of ongoing activity within the region
Provide appropriate and timely communication to the field
Others
Ensure timely collection of franchise revenue in terms of royalty tracking, royalty collection, product sales, and training fees
Maintain high level of product and market knowledge; demonstrate industry knowledge keeping abreast of competition, competitive issues, and products
Work closely with the marketing department to roll out international marketing campaigns, programs, enforce branding integrity, C. I compliance, and others
Understand, review, and update franchise legal agreements
Attend and participate in management meetings, segment team meetings, product seminars, and trade shows
Job Requirements:
Degree in Business Administration/Studies, International Business, or Marketing fields
Minimum 5 to 7 years of relevant experience
Capable of working in a matrix environment, collaborating closely with Franchise/Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to ensure successful execution of key business strategies/decisions
Demonstrate strong striker and hunter skills in identifying leads and deal closure
Good business acumen
Sociable & team player
Excellent initiative and self-motivated
Demonstrated ability to navigate complex situations
Written and oral fluency in English
Generally, up to 30% travel required
Commercially driven and a goal-getter
Excellent organizational ability
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Strong persuasive and negotiation skills
A high degree of self-motivation, self-discipline, ethics, and enthusiasm with a strong desire to succeed
