Role Overview: You will be a key player in our mission to connect top talent with leading Quantitative trading companies. You will combine great business development and execution skills with IT technical skills to get a detailed understanding of the key quantitative trading firms, their business models and the staff that make them successful. You'll be meeting regularly with these staff to deepen that understanding, build relationships, and execute mandates to place key individuals. Key Responsibilities: Develop a detailed understanding of who the key firms in the Quant space are, as well as their business models, staffing structure and key front office personnel. Develop or enhance a general understanding of the technical aspects of the Quant trading business such as artificial intelligence, development for low latency applications and data science. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and candidates in the Quant space via regularly meeting with these people. Manage the recruitment process from start to finish and meet sales targets through strategic thinking and execution. Key Requisites: Either prior experience as a recruiter for the Quant space or technical experience in a Quant related role. Strong business development skills including the tenacity and ability to consistently work at building and maintaining a pipeline of transactions. Genuine interest in learning about the Quantitative Trading space. Being passionate about and capable of continually reaching out to people to have intelligent, meaningful discussions with them about their current job and skills and their career plans. Potential Backgrounds and Experience: Junior or mid level Quant recruiters with 1 to 5 years' experience in recruitment. People with very strong sales or business development experience in a Quant or IT related field.
