Backend Software Engineer, Engagement Safety (Trust & Safety)2 weeks ago Be among the first 25 applicants Responsibilities The Trust and Safety (TnS) engineering team is responsible for protecting our users from harmful content and abusive behaviors. With continuous efforts, TikTok provides the best user experience and brings joy to everyone. Our team builds content moderation process systems, rule engine, strategy systems, feature engine, human moderation platforms, risk insight systems, and all kinds of supportive platforms across TnS organization. Build a highly-scalable, efficient and robust trust and safety platform and tools; Understand product objectives to develop an easy-to-use platform that aligns with customers' needs; Collaborate with trust and safety specialists, experts and machine learning engineers; Improve system design and architecture to ensure high stability and performance of the services; Work with Trust and Safety teams to protect TikTok globally. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor or above degree in computer science or a related technical discipline; Proficiency in designing data structures, building algorithms, and at least one programming language: python/go/php/c++/java; Great communication and teamwork skills Preferred Qualifications: Passionate about techniques and solving challenging problems Experience with Big Data systems and related technologies (Hive, Flink, ClickHouse etc.)About TikTok TikTok is the leading destination for short-form mobile video.
